At the Franciacorta Karting Track in Castrezzato (Italy), home of the first round of the championship, the VTM engine secured the second place in the MINI Gr.3 and a Top 5 in the MINI Gr.3 U10.

MINI Gr.3 – The VTM engine kept on getting top results (always present on the podium) for four races in a row. Oliver Sini (Tony Kart Racing Team), second on the podium at the 35th Andrea Margutti Trophy of last month, opened the weekend with a victory, a third and a fourth place in the qualifying heats and, at the end of the prefinal on Sunday morning, he gained the second position in the general rankings. The Indonesian was one of the main contenders for the victory in the final and claimed the second place at the finish line. Leonardo Gorski (Tony Kart Racing Team), winner of the last round of the WSK Super Master Series in Sarno, was constantly in the Top 10 during all the weekend and in the final he climbed to the fifth position at the first lap, but he was forced to retire prematurely. Finally, at the start of the race of Sunday afternoon, Lucas Bonhomme (Jana Racing) performed a comeback of 10 positions, and Henri Kumpen (Tony Kart Racing Team) secured the first place in the prefinal B of Sunday morning.

MINI Gr.3 U10 – Also among the Under 10, the Vortex VTM got important results. Achille Rea (Tony Kart Racing Team) achieved a second place in his own group of the qualifying practices and gained two podiums and two fastest laps in the qualifying heats. In a final with 10 drivers fighting for the victory, the Italian juggled among his competitors and he secured a place in the Top 5. Victor Gorun (Real Racing) preceded Tiberius Müller (Tony Kart Racing Team) in the rankings, which managed to recover 13 positions compared to the starting grid.

KZ2 – Once again, the Vortex VTZ proved to be competitive but an unlucky accident in the final hindered our representatives from achieving important results. Tom Leuillet (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Marijn Kremers (Tony Kart Racing Team) recorded the two best laps in Group 3 of the rankings of Friday and the duo secured 3 victories and four podiums in the following qualifying heats.
The two teammates perfectly jerked when the light of the final went out, but the two drivers ahead made contact with each other on the second lap, involving them in the accident: the French restarted from the bottom, while the Dutch was forced to retire from the race.
Francesco Celenta (Tony Kart Racing Team) made his way in the top positions, competing until the last corner for a spot among the best five of the category. After a solid path in the eliminatory heats, Genis Civico (Tony Kart Racing Team) took part in the final.
