To get the best performance out of kart tyres in all track conditions, you need: experience, technical knowledge, and... the right trade secrets. Precisely regarding this last point, among beginner and amateur kart drivers from all over the world, there are several paddock myths. To find out which of these are real truths, or simply falsehoods, we relied on the experience and authoritative opinion of Jules Credeville, head of research and development at Vega Tyres, a renowned Italian company leading in the production of karting tyres. Jules answered our 7 questions, and there were certainly some surprises!
